Inside The CORE Realms there are a multitude of a ways to utilize Energy. Two of those ways is through manifesting Kinetic States and/or Magen Links. The two are referred to as Power Forms and by way of the Flow Disk, they work well together. Mainly because they pull from the primary elements; Water, Earth, Fire and Air (You know, the Avatar!)
